Re-elect Wen Chang for the Diamond Bar City Council on November 8, 2005

As an immigrant from Taiwan in 1981, Wen Chang was honored to be elelcted as your councilmember in 1997 and to serve as Mayor in 1999, 2002, and 2005. As a team builder, he brought vision, managerial skill, and people's voices to Diamond Bar City Hall.

Accomplishments:

• Build teamwork among Councilmembers for best interests of the people
• Keep Diamond Bar fiscal sounding
• Build Diamond Bar Center in budget, on time, with quality
• Structure/Implement economic development plan to improve economy and to secure reliable income sources which brought Target to Diamond Bar
• Enforce Neighborhood Improvement program to enhance property value, community safty, and City immage
• Excute efficient and effective government in all services
• Beautify the city
• Improve traffic flow and mitigate congestion
• Promote join-use of school facilities
• Improve communications with residents
• Propose new library construction fund to be determined by voters on ballot

Future Goals:

• Build new library as City' knowledge center and youth learning center
• Help to revitalize Kmart shopping center, Coutry Hills Town Center, and to turn site D into an economic driving force to improve quality of life and City economy
• Maintain fiscal sounding
• Continue to solve traffice problems
• Build Diamond Bar a wi-fi city
• Better mix of cultural understanding and involvement
• Continue to improve quality of life for all residents
